Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb, asked which godfather was behind Pakistan Awami Tehreek president Dr Tahirul Qadri. "Which are those powers, mafias and godfather? On whose directions, Qadri use to return from Canada during a particular situation," she asked, talking to the media Tuesday. However, she herself answered the question saying that people are capable of connecting all dots and know what is happening.

She lamented that Nawaz Sharif appears before the courts despite the fact that courts use terms such as Sicilian mafia (against him). Dismissing calls for early election, the minister of state said that the Senate polls and general elections will be held on schedule, come what may.

PAT president Qadri has already announced a countrywide protest movement against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government at the Centre and in Punjab which will begin on January 17.
